[Senses]
They do not have eyes so they rely on the heat-sensitive pits between their nostril and the spines in their backs.
They are also able to detect low-frequency vibrations in the ground and can sense the approach of another creature. They can hear extremely well due to their large ears.
[Skin]
They have strong thick skin with the exception of a bit of fur on their elbows and the large mane on their back.
They normally come in dark colors such as black, grey/dark grey, and dark shades of brown. Their marking come in all colors and pattern.
[Mouth & Diet]
They have sharp curved teeth and can dislocate their jaw to swallow their food whole. They are omnivores and they eat mostly horse, elk & different kinds of fruit.
[Spines]
The spines on their lower back are used for sensing things around them as well as hunting, as the glow is used to lure other creatures. The glows color depends on the color of their markings. Chicudo's with white glow are called "Whitelights" and ones with black are "Blacklights" Both are very rare. A strong poison can also come from the spines when touched.
[Tail]
Their tails are very strong and are used mostly for self defense or as a warning to any attacker. They also are used for fishing as the glow attracts the fish. Their tails are always black and white with a glowing tip.
[Behavior]
They are normally very calm and prefer to prevent fighting. They are extremely strong due to their large size and are often used as working animals by humans, if they allow themselves to be tamed. Even with their laid back attitude they love killing different creatures and playing with them in the same way cats do. They are very playful and will make a game out of anything.
Nobody knows this guy's name, so they call 'im Stripes. It's hip, it's happening, it's hot... well, we got to call him something right? He's a bit misunderstood, with the whole eyes thing and the creepy way his mouth opens. I mean, when he talks, others tend to shuffle slowly away. Stripes' dream is to be in a punk rock death metal band. He has this awesome growl that would, in his mind, be just perfect. Usually he just strolls around, ignores others and listens to music. Sometimes with headphones and sometimes just blaring it for everyone to listen to. He's a fan of the hard stuff - tracks with great bass drops and often lots of yelling.
He does like to scare people, although he doesn't have to try very hard to pull that off. Nothing quite like sneaking up behind someone, breathing on their neck and whispering in their ear. Usually Stripes gets a big laugh out of that, but is quick to exit the scene.
