Lantern is the one you see when you're lost. She comes to your rescue, her soft glow a beacon of hope. Her presence provides a sense of security and direction. She is never seen without her lantern.

She is a dog of few words, preferring to help you find your destination. Sometimes that destination is not a physical one, but emotional or mental. It doesn't matter in what way you're lost; she will find and help you.

Lantern can feel when someone is lost, no words are needed. She can actually teleport using light sources, so no place in the world is off limits. Evil beings seem to be wary of her for some reason, and seem to keep their distance. 

As a mystical being, she doesn't seem to need to partake in water or food. Therefore, she can be your guardian for as long as needed.
